Description
The FOX ESS PowerQ is a fully integrated residential solar and battery storage solution designed to combine solar generation, energy storage and backup power in one streamlined system.
Available with inverter capacities from 3.8 kW up to 11.4 kW, the PowerQ can be configured for different household energy requirements and expanded to provide up to 80 kWh of total battery storage capacity. The hybrid version allows solar panels to connect directly to the system, creating a clean, simplified solar-and-storage installation.
Its modular design makes the PowerQ suitable for both everyday energy management and whole-home backup applications. The system uses LFP (LiFePO₄) battery chemistry, supports remote monitoring through a smartphone app or web portal, and includes integrated battery warming for operation in temperatures as low as -25°C, making it particularly attractive for Canadian climates.
The PowerQ is Type 4X rated for outdoor installation, uses natural-convection cooling for quiet operation, and is designed around an integrated, plug-and-play architecture that can simplify installation compared with systems requiring multiple separate components.
